What is free, what costs $29

Always free

  • Opening any number of .eml files
  • Reading every message
  • Searching across all of them
  • Saving a single message as PDF or .eml

$29 one-time unlock

  • Convert the whole set to one combined PDF
  • Export every message as individual files (zipped)
  • Export a CSV index of the set
  • Re-convert the same files free forever in this browser

How conversion works

Your .eml files parse in the browser tab

Each file is a standard RFC 822 message: headers, body, attachments. The parser reads them on your machine and shows them like an email client. Nothing is sent over the network.

Read, search, and convert single emails free

Every message is searchable the moment it opens. Click one to read it, save it as a PDF at no charge. The PDF is a clean transcript: full headers, the message text, and the attachment list, built for records, court filings and printing.

Convert the whole folder, once

One payment unlocks bulk conversion for the set you dropped: a combined PDF of every message, individual files zipped, or a CSV index. Drop the same files again any time and the unlock is remembered by this browser.

Straight answers

What is an .eml file?

A single email message saved as a file, headers and body and attachments together, in the standard RFC 822 format. You get them by dragging a message out of Outlook or Thunderbird, using Save As or Download message in most mail apps and webmail, or receiving an export from a records or e-discovery handover. Windows and phones often cannot open them cleanly, which is usually why people need them as PDFs.

Is converting one email really free?

Yes. Drop a single .eml file, read it, save it as a PDF, no charge and no account. The $29 unlock is for bulk work: a whole folder of messages to a combined PDF, individual files, or a CSV index.

Are my emails uploaded to your servers?

No. Parsing and PDF generation are JavaScript running in your browser tab. The only network request this page makes is to Stripe for payment. Saved email often carries legal, medical and HR material, which is exactly why this tool keeps it on your machine. Open your browser's developer tools and watch the network tab while you convert: your mail is not in the traffic.

Does the PDF look exactly like the original email?

The PDF is a clean, readable transcript: the full header block (from, to, date, subject), the message text, and a list of any attachments. It is built for reading, records and printing. It is not a pixel-perfect screenshot of HTML styling, and marketing emails with heavy layouts will read as text.

I have an MBOX, OLM or PST archive instead of .eml files.

Same tool, bigger input: the email archive page opens whole MBOX, OLM, PST and OST archives with the same free reading and the same one-time unlock for bulk export.

What shows up on my card statement?

WEDGEWORKS* EMAILKIT. FileQuiet is made by Wedgeworks. $29, one time, for the set of files you dropped. No subscription, nothing recurring.
